About c.a.t

in

history

c.a.t was founded in 1995 with the purpose of supporting performing, visual, musical and dramatic arts within the Christadelphian community. The late Arthur Russell pioneered this work and his passion saw c.a.t's early years focus on the visual arts with projects such as art exhibitions, book cover designs and other marketing and presentation material.

2003 saw a change in direction for the Art Trust with the purchase of music recording equipment enabling c.a.t to release 3 of its own albums and be involved with other recording projects for ecclesias and youth groups. Since that time an amazing amount of original music has been uncovered and the support this continues to receive from the community is overwhelming.

c.a.t has been blessed to work in the community for the past ten years and we look forward to many more with God's blessing.

why art?

Jesus used miracles to draw people's attention and give power to the words he spoke. In this age of media and advertising the Art Trust believes that music and art can add power and bring to life to the very relevant Gospel message.

our aims

c.a.t exists to give opportunities to artists within our community to explore a variety of styles and mediums for two purposes:

1. To preach God's word in a creative way
2. To edify and encourage our own community

We place value on professionalism and excellence and believe that it is important to present the Gospel in the best way we can.

c.a.t is based in Sydney and collaborates nationally on most projects. We hope to see the growth of many independent c.a.t initiatives in other states.
